Antique printed color chart showing elevation and geologic information for the region from Taconic Mountains (in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut) to the Hudson Valley at the Poesten Kill River in Rensselaer County, New York. Produced by the U.S. Geological Survey and published in Shaler's 1892 The Geological History of Harbors. Very good antique condition with mild toning of the paper throughout, some minor wrinkling along the bottom center of the page, and some image overlay at the sides, as well as a few spots of very minor foxing. With folds, as issued. Page measures approximately 11.25" x 20.25" overall.
