Antique printed color map showing elevation and geologic information for the region from Taconic Mountains (in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut) to the Hudson Valley at the Poesten Kill River in Rensselaer County, New York. Produced by the U.S. Geological Survey and published in Shaler's 1892 The Geological History of Harbors. Very good antique condition with mild toning of the paper throughout, and a few spots of very minor foxing/soiling. Centerfold, as issued. Page measures approximately 14.25" x 11.25" overall.
