Antique printed color map of Europe from "The Physical Atlas of Natural Phenomena" by Alexander Keith Johnston, published by William Blackwood and Sons in 1856. This map is a very early example of the use of printed color. In very good antique condition with some overall toning and very minor foxing, this piece measures approximately 20 x 24.25 inches.
