From the County Atlas of Hampshire Massachusetts, by Beers, 1873. These two towns were disincorporated and parts were taken by surrounding towns, while most of the land became the Quabbin Reservoir. Buildings were either destroyed or submerged. Greenwich is mostly submerged while the Quabbin Observatory and Enfield Lookout, located on scenic Quabbin Hill, as well as the main entrance and headquarters of Quabbin State Park, a popular tourist destination with an emphasis on state history and nature, are all within the former Enfiled's limits. Single sheet measures approximately 14 x 11.5 inches. Overall good to very good condition.
