Antique pictorial map of Greenwich Connecticut CT by Roger H. Selchow, 1939. This map was created to "Commemorate ye 300th Anniversary of Greenwich" in 1940. Illustrations throughout decpit historical buldings and events. A black star indicates that the building was still standing in 1939. The decorative borders feature drawings of "Buildings of Great Fame and Beauty" and "Historic Buildings Erected after 1800" as well as an abundance of produce and seafood. This map is in very good antique condition with a few small minor stains. Map is stuck to a foam core board along the top edge but the rest of the paper is unmounted. Measures approx. 19.25 x 26.75 inches to the outer edges of the decorative border. **NOTE- because this map requires extra insurance for shipping, an additional charge will appear on your card after your original purchase.
