Antique hand-colored maps showing parts of the Middle East and Holy Land as they were in ancient times as well as a map of the Roman Empire showing the routes of attackers. Copyrighted in 1844 by Mitchell, published by E.H. Butler in Mitchell's Ancient Atlas, Classical and Sacred in 1871. Fair to good antique condition with mild toning and some minor spots. Damage on the left side of the page slightly into the maps. Measures approx. 8.5 x 10.75 inches to the neatline.
