Antique map of present-day West Bengal in India and Bangladesh, with hand-colored outlines, published under the superintendence of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Information, 1831. Map is detailed and includes topographical detail. This is the sheet that includes Calcutta and the Mouth of the Ganges. Visible plate mark. Good to very good overall antique condition with some mild toning and foxing of the antique paper. Measures approximately 14" x 10" to the neatline.
