Antique hand colored engraved map of southern Italy, including Sicily and an inset map of the island of Sardinia, showing its placement in relation to the island of Corsica. Written in French, published in the "Atlas du Dictionnaire de Geographie Universelle Ancienne et Moderne," By Herisson, 1806. Visible plate mark. Very good overall antique condition with some mild toning and foxing. Map measures approximately 7" x 8.25" (H x W) to the neatline.
