Hand colored antique map of the western US. Includes the states of California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. The state borders appear to have been solidified to how we know them today. The counties within each state were still being formed at this time. This map is in fair to good antique condition, with no margin at all outside the decorative border and acid burn from tape throughout the top decorative border. The map itself is in very good condition and could be framed with a mat covering the decorative border to hide the imperfections. A few minor spots. Measures approx. 16 1/2" x 24 1/2" (h x w)
