Antique hand colored map of New England with uncolored vignettes around the map and a decorative border. Includes topographical detail, railroads, towns, cities, etc. Colored by county. Featured illustrations include the Niagara Suspension Bridge, the homestead and farm of Daniel Webster in Marshfield, MA, and the observatories at Yale College, Amherst College, and Cambridge (belonging to Harvard). With fold, as issued. Good overall antique condition with mild toning and areas of very minor foxing/staining, as well as some minor roughing of the outer edges including very mild seam separation at the edges of the fold. Measures approximately 24" x 17" (H x W) to the outer edges of the decorative border.
