Antique black and white map of the Juan Fernandez Islands, located off the coast of Chile, in French, by Bellin, c. 1755. Features a decorative cartouche, a compass rose, and a view of the Islands (with notations) above the map. Visible plate mark. With fold, as issued. Very good overall antique condition with some toning and mild foxing- mainly at the outer edges. Measures approximately 7.75" x 11" (H x W) to the neatline.
