Hand-colored engraved antique map of Lancaster, England, by Morden, at the beginning of the 18th century, showing the county of Lancaster as a palatine, that is, under the local rule of the Earl of Lancaster, with cities and towns, churches, cathedrals, parks, rivers, bays, forests and hills, with some early bathemetry of shoals and sandbars in the Irish Sea; prominent and colorful cartouche.
