Early engraved hand colored map of Denmark, in French, with charming and elaborate border featuring cherubs engaged in various cartographic activities, fanciful cartouche with sea serpents, and including an extensive narrative about the history and geography of the nation. Very good overall antique condition, with very minor seam separation lower center margin and a few minor spots, approx. 14 x 21 inches.
