1894
Maker: British Admiralty.
Black and white nautical chart of part of the coast of northern Scotland by the British Admiralty printed in 1894. This chart shows Loch Inver, Loch Roe, Loch Du, Achmelvic Bay, the Soya islands, and more. Includes two unusual recognition profiles in the lower left corner. They are positioned so that if you turn the chart until the profile is facing up, you will see it in a line with the coastline that it is depicting. Includes land features with heights, towns, cities, major roads, ocean soundings in fathoms, and all bearings are magnetic. Very good overall antique condition with minor light surface soiling and some light foxing. Approx. 19.5 x 25 inches with some information extending beyond the border.
