Antique hand colored map of Africa, published in Olney's School Geography in 1844 by Robinson. The map also indicates populations, distances, some historical events, and symbols that appear to indicate the type of ruler ship or the religion. Inset map of Liberia and Sierra Leone. Good antique condition with a few spots in the margins, some edge wear, and light toning. Measures approx. 8.5 x 10.75 inches to the neatline.
