1778
Maker: Gentleman's Magazine.
Antique uncolored map of the Hudson River from Gentleman's Magazine in 1778. A fascinating map of part of the US during the Revolutionary War. This was likely published to educate people reading the magazine about the country and areas where the war was being fought. It covers the area from Philadelphia to Fort Ticonderoga and the Connecticut River to Oswego, with Long Island, New York, other rivers, mountains, forts, towns and cities. Very good condition with some folds as issued that are barely visible, and some minor image transfer. Measures approx. 11.5 x 8.5 inches to the neatline.
