Antique printed color map of a northern portion of New York City, by Hunt and Eaton, 1892. Shows areas of Harlem, Upper Manhattan, Washington Heights, the Bronx, etc. extending as far north as Riverdale. Map is detailed and shows general outline of city blocks, names of major streets, steam railraods, elevated railroads, and the at the time unfinished, "Suburban Rapid Transit." Also includes some points of interest (e.g. St. John's College- present-day St. John's University, Emigrant Refuge Hospital, cemetaries, parks, lunatic asylums, inebriate asylum, etc.) Fair to good overall antique condition with some mild toning of the paper, some water stains at top edge. Measures approximately 12" x 9" to the neatline. Priced as-is. **SOLD**
