Antique hand-colored map from Mitchell's 1885 New General Atlas. Includes an inset map of the Island of Newfoundland. Shows political boundaries, railroads, cities, the locations of native peoples, water bodies, as well as land features. This map is in good antique condition with minor overall toning, some stains in margin and slight separations at edges along fold. Paper is a bit fragile. It measures approximately 13.5 x 22.25 inches to the outer neatline.
