Antique hand colored "Map of the United States and Territories" created in 1871 and published in the 1872 atlas by Walling & Gray, showing extensive railroad lines and the towns settled along their routes as they trek west, North and South Dakota as one Dakota, as well Oklahoma designated as "Indian Territory". Very good overall antique condition, with some small tears in the margins, and some minor paper loss at edges. Measures approx. 15 x 24 inches.
