1839

Maker: The Family Magazine.

Antique map of the area from Lake Champlain to Albany, New York, showing important locations and dates in the Revolutionary War. From "The Family Magazine" published in either 1839 or 1843 (there is some ambiguity as to which date is correct). Shows battles marked by crossed swords, as well as rivers, water bodies, landforms, towns, forts, and roads. Very good antique condition with minor toning, some foxing in margin at bottom, text from reverse side visible. Paper has a slight waviness. Map measures approximately 6.5 x 4.25 inches, while the full sheet measures approximately 10.5 x 6.5 inches.
