Charming antique pictorial map of the town of Milton, MA Massachusetts, by Claretta Pope Higgins, 1937. With historical information, notable buildings, literary references, and more. The borders feature detailed images of the oldest buildings and other notable things relating to Milton. This map was apparently hand colored at one point but much of the color has faded. Good antique condition. Overall toning that is darker in some places. Could be lightened in restoration, which would require an additional cost. Framed, but the frame is not in good condition, with chips and some small drips of paint on the glass. Measures approx. 19.75 x 21 inches to the map edges.
