Antique map from the Atlas of the City of Newton, by J.B. Beers & Co., 1886. Shows streets, railroads, some topography, and property owners' names. Buildings are colored thus: grey is frame (wood), red is brick, blue is stone. Includes the Lasell Female Seminary (now Lasell University) and Vista Hill. Good condition with some minor stains and some small tears. Any imperfections in the margin can be hidden with a mat when framing. Measures approx. 17.75 x 28.25 inches to the neatline.
