Antique map from the Atlas of the City of Newton, by J.B. Beers & Co., 1886. Shows streets, railroads, some topography, and property owners' names. Buildings are colored thus: grey is frame (wood), red is brick, blue is stone. Includes the Pomroy Home for Orphan Girls, Walnut Park, and the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady. Very good condition with some minor signs of age. Measures approx. 18 x 13 inches to the neatline.
