Antique map from the Atlas of the City of Newton, by J.B. Beers & Co., 1886. Shows streets, railroads, some topography, and property owners' names. Buildings are colored thus: grey is frame (wood), red is brick, blue is stone. Includes several mills on the Charles River as well as the Hamilton Grammar School and St Marys Episcopal Church. Very good condition with some minor signs of age, some small tears at paper edges. Measures approx. 17.75 x 28.25 inches to the neatline.
