Antique hand-colored map of a portion of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, including St. John's Episcopal Church as the southernmost landmark at the left side of the map. The church no longer seems to be there, but is memorialized by the name of St John St. Streets include Chestnut Ave, Spring Park Ave, Centre St, and more. Includes the names of property owners at the time of publication, and notes the Curtis Street Public School and Horse Car Railroad. Copyrighted by G. M. Hopkins, 1874. Center fold, as issued. Fair to Good antique condition with toning and soiling/staining of the paper as well as seam separation at both the top and bottom, and many small tears at the outer edges of the paper. Measures approximately 15" x 24" to the neatline.
