Antique map of part of Northampton MA near Elm St, Prospect St, Vernon St, and "Wildwood", published in the Atlas of Northampton and East Hampton, Massachusetts by D.L. Miller & Co. 1895. This map includes the location of the Smith College Quadrangle, between Paradise Rd and Kensington Ave, which was built about 25 years after the map was published. These maps were made for tax and insurance purposes and have every property owners' name and the buildings are color coded based on material (pink= brick or stone, yellow= wood, etc.). Very good antique condition with overall toning, some tears and paper loss at the edges, a couple of small spots. Measures approx. 16 x 26 inches to the neatline.
