Antique hand colored map of Carver, Massachusetts, half of plate 33, from the Plymouth County Atlas by Richards, 1903. Includes an index map of Plymouth County. Also includes the names of property owners at time of publication, cranberry bogs, bodies of water, public buildings, churches, cemeteries, etc. The reference key allows you to note public and private roads, the highest point of elevation in town, the construction type of buildings (brick, wood, stone, etc.,) and the location of fire hydrants, among other things. Good antique condition with mild toning of the paper throughout including a rectangle of darker toning at the bottom left of the page, spots of minor foxing/staining, some visible folds in the paper, and edge wear, mainly along the top and bottom, with some tears and minor paper loss at the outer edges. Measures approximately 20.25" x 14" to the neatline, with the map extending beyond the neatline and the neatline cut off along the left side.
