Antique map of Illinois, published in the Chicago Sunday Tribune in 1935, copyright T.N.T. Co. 1934. This map is "A direct reproduction of a map of Illinois published in 1834. The panels portray important events and developments of the period." The 1834 map is surrounded by illustrations. Printed in full color, this map was included in the 1935 May 5 newspaper and a notice at the bottom claims that a special study of Illinois history would be made the following day in Chicago public schools. Very good condition with folds as issued, overall toning, and some minor damage at the paper edges. Measure approx. 20.5 x 15.5 inches to the paper edges.
