Antique botanical lithograph from North American Wild Flowers by Mary Vaux Walcott, published by the Smithsonian Institute, 1925. This parasitic plant is now known as Orobanche uniflora or one-flowered broom-rape. The cover booklet states: "All sketches are life size." Each print is accompanied by a page with text describing the plant. Gorgeous original lithograph color. With plate mark. Page measures approx. 14 x 11 inches.
