Antique chromolithograph print of seven varieties of pear, published in Van Houtte's and Charles Lemaire's "Flore des Serres et des Jardins de l'Europe" from 1860. Each pear is labeled with a number that corresponds to its name printed at bottom. This plate includes Commissaire Delmotte, La Quintinye, Milan de Rouen, Calebasse Boisbunel, and more. Some of the pears are shown in multiple views. Rich original color. Approx. 10 x 13.5 inches to the paper edges. Very good antique condition with some mild wear and staining at the paper edges.
