Antique print of a bird of prey, possibly a European honey buzzard or Pern, published in Allgemeine Naturgeschichte by French naturalist George-Louis Leclerq de Buffon, 1787. Original hand-coloring. Very good antique condition. Matted. Measures approx. 5 x 3 inches to the neatline and 8 x 6 inches to the outer mat edges.
