Antique nautical chart of part of Asia by James Imray & Son, 1863. This chart includes a fantastic representation of Taiwan and the northern Philippines, as well as a small section of the coast of China (the Haitan Bay area and vicinity). This chart has many locations noted on it, but the first two items in the key under the title indicate "position doubtful" and "uncertain or doubtful" and areas with a certain shading indicate that coast "has been examined." Very good antique condition with some minor wear at the edges, some mild stains and wrinkles. Measures approx.
