Antique nautical chart of part of Asia by James Imray & Son, 1863. This chart includes a fantastic representation of the coast of China from Taiwan to Korea. Includes part of Japan, as well as Shanghai (Shang-hae on the chart), and a collection of recognition profiles on the right side. This chart has many locations noted on it, but the first two items in the key under the title indicate "position doubtful" and "uncertain or doubtful" and areas with a certain shading indicate that coast "has been examined." Very good antique condition with some minor wear at the edges, some mild stains and wrinkles. Measures approx.
