Antique coast survey report chart showing the area around Aransas Pass, the waterway between two islands, published by the US Coast Survey in their Annual Report of 1851. Includes Mustang Island, what is now Port Aransas, and San Jose Island, the breakers, and water depths. This survey was done for the purpose of placing a lighthouse in the area. Recent hand-coloring. Very good antique condition with overall toning, small spots. Measures approx. 7.5 x 8 inches to the neatline.
