Genuine Antique Map
1890
Maker: American Bank Note Co.
Antique railroad map showing the Central Vermont Railroad which connected Vermont to many places around North America. This was printed by American Bank Note Co. and published in a railroad travel booklet in 1890 by the Daily Times Printing and Publishing House. The larger map shows the railroad and connections from Boston to Chicago, with other lines reaching farther, and from Canada's St. Octave to Tennessee. Inset map of the rest of the country shows further connections. Very good antique condition with folds as issued. Some minor wear along the folds and tiny separations at the fold intersections. Apparently the paper was slightly folded at top during the printing: the image is fine as it is, but if the paper were full flattened, there would be separations in the print. Measures approx. 14.25 x 12.5 inches to the neatline.
