Antique hand-colored map of part of the Monmouth Beach borough of New Jersey. Published in Wolverton's Atlas of Monmouth County, New Jersey, 1889. Includes points of interest, as well as steam railroads, streetcars, water mains, and the names of some property owners at the time of publication. Buildings are colored to indicate their construction material type (stone, brick, or frame,) and marked to indicate if they are a residence/business, or a barn/stable, etc. Center fold, as issued. Very good antique condition with some wrinkling and toning, which are mainly concentrated at the outer edges of the paper, as well as a few spots of foxing/staining and some minor wrinkling within the map area. Tight margins at the left of the top edge, and at the center right side edge of the map. Measures approximately 18.25" x 28.25" to the neatline.
