Antique hand-colored map of part of the city of Asbury Park, New Jersey. Published in Wolverton's Atlas of Monmouth County, New Jersey, 1889. Includes points of interest, as well as steam railroads, streetcars, water mains, and the names of some property owners at the time of publication. Buildings are colored to indicate their construction material type (stone, brick, or frame,) and marked to indicate if they are a residence/business, or a barn/stable, etc. Center fold, as issued. Very good antique condition with some wrinkling and toning, which are mainly concentrated at the outer edges of the paper, a few spots of very minor foxing/staining, and a couple very small tears at the outer paper edge, as well as some notes written in pencil by a previous owner. Measures approximately 18.25" x 28.5" to the neatline.
