Antique hand-colored map of part of Redbank, New Jersey. Published in Wolverton's Atlas of Monmouth County, New Jersey, 1889. Includes points of interest, as well as steam railroads, streetcars, water mains, and the names of some property owners at the time of publication. Buildings are colored to indicate their construction material type (stone, brick, or frame,) and marked to indicate if they are a residence/business, or a barn/stable, etc. Includes the Opera House, sash and blind factories, etc. Center fold, as issued. Very good antique condition with some wrinkling and toning, which are mainly concentrated at the outer edges of the paper, and a few spots of minor foxing/staining. Fairly tight margins along the top and bottom edges, with the map extending very close to the outer edge of the paper. Measures approximately 18.25" x 27" to the neatline.
