Antique hand-colored map of Eatontown, New Jersey, with inset maps of Oceanport, New Jersey, and Monmouth Park. Published in Wolverton's Atlas of Monmouth County, New Jersey, 1889. Includes points of interest, as well as steam railroads, streetcars, water mains, and the names of some property owners at the time of publication. Buildings are colored to indicate their construction material type (stone, brick, or frame,) and marked to indicate if they are a residence/business, or a barn/stable, etc. Center fold, as issued. Good to Very good antique condition with some wrinkling and toning, which are mainly concentrated at the outer edges of the paper, and a few spots of minor foxing/staining, as well as some notes written in pencil by a previous owner. There is also some minor seam separation, edge wear/small tears at the outer edges, and some damage to the paper resulting in a few small holes/tears at the top center of the map. Measures approximately 18.25" x 28.5" to the neatline.
