Antique hand-colored map of parts of Middletown and Eatontown, New Jersey, with inset maps of Oceanic, Fair Haven, a portion of Middletown, and Parkerville Little Silver P.O., New Jersey. Published in Wolverton's Atlas of Monmouth County, New Jersey, 1889. Includes points of interest, public roads, private roads, school houses, churches, cemeteries, post offices, streams, marshes, and names of some property owners at the time of publication. School districts are prominently labeled on the main map. Center fold, as issued. Very good antique condition with some wrinkling and toning, which are mainly concentrated at the outer edges of the paper, and a few spots of minor foxing/staining, as well as some seam separation at the bottom of the center fold. Very tight margin at the top of the main map, with the map extending nearly to the outer edge of the paper. Measures approximately 18.25" x 28.25" to the neatline.
