Antique hand-colored map of Wall Township, New Jersey, with an inset map of part of Shrewsbury, NJ. Published in Wolverton's Atlas of Monmouth County, New Jersey, 1889. Includes points of interest, public roads, private roads, school houses, churches, cemeteries, post offices, streams, marshes, and names of some property owners at the time of publication. School districts are prominently labeled. Center fold, as issued. Very good antique condition with some wrinkling and toning, mainly at the outer edges of the paper, and a few spots of foxing/staining, as well as some seam separation at the bottom of the center fold. There are also a few notes written in pencil by a previous owner. Very tight margin at the top of the page, with the map extending to the outer edge of the paper. Measures approximately 18.5" x 28.25" to the neatline.
