Antique black and white engraved illustration showing a view of Jersey City, New Jersey, from across the Hudson River, published 1844. The scene includes steam ships, sailboats, a larger ship, and three figures in a rowboat traveling along the water in the foreground. One of the steamboats says "Jesey City" across it, with an American flag on the back. Very good antique condition with mild toning of the paper and some minor soiling/staining of the paper in the margins. Page measures approximately 5.5" x 8.75" overall.
