Antique map of Independence, NJ, published in the County Atlas of Warren, New Jersey by F.W. Beers & Co. in 1874. Shows the township as it was in 1874 with districts indicated by color, railroads, canals, etc. Includes property owners' names with densely populated areas enlarged separately. Inset maps of Danville and Vienna. Includes Hackettstown, which would not be incorporated as a town until 1853. Very good antique condition with mild overall toning, some minor spots. Measures approx. 11.25 x 14.25 inches to the neatline.
