Antique hand colored map of North America from Butler's Atlas of Modern Geography, published by Longman in 1842. Drawn and engraved by Hall. Colored by country. Good condition with some toning, a few tiny spots, minor stains in margins, and some slight image transfer aka ghosting. Small seam separation at left side that goes past the border line (archivally repaired). With a center fold as issued in the atlas. Measures Approx. 9.25 x 7.25 inches to the neatline and 8.5 x 11 inches to the paper edges.
