Antique printed color map of the North Pole and the South Pole, by Bartholomew, 1898. Map shows much of the North and South Poles as unexplored, with notes such as "probable line of continent," and "Probably all covered with Ice Sheet." Includes notes on the explorers, and the years of their explorations, of certain regions. Very good overall antique condition with some minor toning of the paper and mild seam separation which has been archivally repaired. Maps together measure approximately 12.25" x 16.5" to the neatline.
