Antique hand colored map of Switzerland by Covens and Mortier, 1742. Shows Lake Como and Lake Geneva or Lac Leman, as well as cities, rivers, mountains, other lakes, and more. In two of the corners are the crests of the Swiss regions and allies. Based on an earlier map by De L'isle. Very good overall antique condition with some minimal signs of age. Original outline color and color for urban areas. Folded in center as issued. Approx. 18.5 x 24 inches to the neatline.
