Antique aerial photograph poster of the vicinity of New York City, published in the National Geographic Magazine in 1933. Excellent view of Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, Jersey City, and more. Interesting to see the many wharves, ships in New York Harbor, Ellis Island, the bridges, the street grids and classic avenues of Manhattan. A smaller map on the back side labels the various locations shown in the photo. Good to very good condition with folds as issued, some wear at the folds including small holes at the fold intersections, and some small tears paper edges. Image measures approx. 17.25 x 22 inches and overall sheet dimensions are 19.5 x 23.5 inches.
