Antique color lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1862 manual of New York City, shows a view of Union soldiers from the 7th New York Volunteers in the mess hall of the State Arsenal building in Central Park, Manhattan. The 7th N.Y.V was unique in the fact that it was composed almost entirely of German immigrants, hence the name "Steuben Gaurd." Good condition, approximately 4.5" x 7" to the paper edges
