Antique color lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1863 manual of New York City, shows a view of the old neo-classsical style playhouse on Bowery Street, Manhattan. The playhouse was popular among the upper classes of the area and at the time of its completion was the largest playhouse in the country with seating for 3,500 people. Good condition, approximately 7" x 4.5" to the paper edges
