Maker: Valentine's Manual

Antique black & white lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1861 manual of New York City, shows a view of figures standing in front of Old Broadway Theatre. At the time of its opening, the theatre could seat up to 4000 spectators making it the largest in the country, however it struggled to make ends meet nad after only twelve years the building was sold and converted to a textile factory. Good condition, approximately 7" x 4.5" to the paper edges.
